The aim of the course is to enable the learner to write efficiently and coherently on familiar academic or professional topics.
The goal of this course is to introduce you to the basics of academic writing and enable you to write efficiently and coherently on familiar academic topics. You will also learn about the traditional essay and its importance; this knowledge will equip you with the basic necessary skills to write about topics related your field of study or profession. The course consists of five modules. It is self-paced; however, the recommended average time for completion is eight weeks. Participants must have a basic working knowledge of English, preferably at the high school level.
