LEADERSHIP PROGRAM

About this course

The Multilateral Leadership Program, here referred to as MLP, is a holistic program aimed at preparing young leaders for future roles in the community. Leaders in modern times do not only need to manage people and resources. Leaders are empathetic individuals, informed and educated, exposed and connected, positive and assertive, modest and collaborative, relevant and competent. They feel the sense of responsibility towards their direct and indirect environments and they engage and collaborate to achieve results, to improve situations, to solve problems, in short to impact the world positively. All these characteristics are proven essential for successful leaders of tomorrow. From our sense of institutional responsibility and service to the community, stems this program, the MLP, which is a collaborative effort between members of our internal community of faculty and experts, and from our cumulative institutional experience in education and in building competencies and young personalities capable of effectively functioning in today’s world. The MLP is built in line with two main strategies: The Saudi National Vision 2030 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. This approach makes the Program efficient and relevant, and responds to the needs planned for KSA and the world at a larger scale.

Learning Outcomes

• The MLP Learning Outcomes are clearly defined for each module and are measured with specific tools for quality and reporting purposes. The process leads to specific certifications. Each workshop provides a certificate of participation. But successful engagement in more hands on activities leads to practitioner or even expert certification. The highest level of participation in the MLP leads to the ultimate and highest level of certification, which is the Young Leader Certification which is the result of a capstone project after participation in close to 80% of this overall program.
